Job Description

Job Summary & Essential
Functions: The following describes in general terms the purpose and
scope of the position. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Machine Operator- Level 1
Runs extruder machine - basic operations
Cuts parts to length
Machines and fabricates parts
Assembly of parts
Deburrs parts after extrusion
Packages finished product.
Performs other duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications: To perform this
job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of
the knowledge, skills, qualifications, competencies, abilities and any physical
demands if required.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as shop orders,
basic blue prints, shop drawings, process alerts, work instructions, etc. as
required.
Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math
functions at a 12th grade level.
Ability to use precision measuring tools.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Basic mechanical aptitude
Has passion for their work and Ducommun; finds creative and
unique ways to contribute to the team.

Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:
High school diploma or GED
At least one (1) year minimum of related experience in a
manufacturing environment.
Basic mechanical aptitude, entry level
