Test Technician 1st shift - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Hours may vary, Overtime required as needed) The Test Technician will use test equipment like digital multimeters and oscilloscopes to troubleshoot units to the component level. A candidate for this role will have experience with various test equipment, the ability to read schematics, and the understanding of electronic theory and be able to interoperate results. Who are we? Tests involve understanding of electronic theory and interpretation of results. * Perform variety of tasks to ensure production quality standards are met. * Construct test set-ups, interfaces to Unit Under Test (UUT), test fixtures, and other test aids. * Perform lower level test duties as necessary. * Make recommendations for procedural changes as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications * Prior experience in reading and applying information from wiring lists, wiring schematics, process sheets and procedures * Basic soldering skills and ability to work with small hand/crimp tools * Basic computer skills; ability to open programs and input data * Understanding of electrical safety Required Skills and Qualifications * High School diploma or GED * 2 years vocational or military training in electronics and/or equivalent on the job training experience in a testing role This is a generic job posting for a Test Technician.
