Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Peptide Chemist to join our dynamic team in San Diego. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional academic credentials in peptide and chemistry, as well as expertise in bioconjugation and knowledge in chemical biology. In this role, the successful applicant will be a key member within the laboratory and make significant contributions to the advancement of Calibr's peptide drug discovery portfolio. Primarily, the candidate will be responsible for the design and synthesis of analogs intended to enhance the potency, pharmacokinetics, safety, and in vivo efficacy of potential drug candidates. Furthermore, the candidate will enjoy ample opportunities to learn and actively participate in multidisciplinary drug discovery projects, making a meaningful impact and engaging in independent ideation to drive innovative practices. Ultimately, this role will play a crucial part in accelerating peptide drug discovery endeavors at Calibr. COMPENSATION The expected hiring range for this position is $108,000.00 to $129,600.00 commensurate with experience. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements.
