Job Description:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Water Wastewater Engineer based out of our Hunt Valley, MD office. This position is on a career path to manage EA's commercial water/wastewater group.

What you will do: The Water Wastewater Engineer will be responsible for performing, managing, and marketing water/wastewater treatment system projects for a range of industrial clients. Specific duties include:



  • Assisting EA's clients develop designs for wastewater treatment systems for existing clients that regenerate utility scrubber catalysts, produce home/personal care products, make food & beverage items, and generate power from food waste.
  • Providing engineering support to EA's wastewater treatability laboratory.

This is a fully remote position for the right candidate. Travel in the United States is required for plant assessments and for system commissioning/startups. International travel is likely.

What you will need:



  • B.S. degree (M.S preferred) in Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
  • PE license or ability to obtain one within first year of employment.
  • At least 15 years of water and wastewater design experience.
  • The ability to write proposals.
  • Knowledgeable in broad array of water/wastewater treatment technologies.
  • Must be competent in hydraulic design for pipes and channels.
  • Knowledge of specification writing
  • CADD and 3D design software experience.
  • Managerial experience - project management required.
  • Managing design group, a plus.
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently.

Anticipated salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year commensurate with qualifications and experience.
