APP Structural Heart POSITION SUMMARY: In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, contributes professional and clinical expertise to assigned patient populations to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. The Advanced Practice Provider serving the Structural/Interventional program will be involved in the patients longitudinal care patient including pre and post procedural care, education, coordination of care, procedural assistance, follow-up, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes and program success. Special Skills/Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program as determined by the Committee on Allied Health. Education and Accreditation or a current Registered Professional Nurse and Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program/master 's in nursing. Current Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or for Advanced Practice Nurses a current Board Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Hold a valid, current New Jersey license. Obtain a New Jersey CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment if not already covered. Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving. Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred. BLS certification via American Heart Association. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical practice experience in related field. Willing to train highly motivated individual with interest in Cardiology SPECIAL SKILLS: Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving. * Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred.
