Location: Houston, TX (77039); In-office role Objective Provide excellent service and support for Fleet operations by working directly for the Truck Fleet Manager and Purchasing & Sales Manager. Administer and organize start-to-finish activities for vehicle processes including vehicle registrations and related documentation. Regular Job Duties
- Maintain, distribute, and renew registrations of vehicles
- Maintain an Excel spreadsheet to track new & retired vehicles including trucks, vehicles, and other similar machinery
- Administer data input, reporting, and upkeep of records in the GE database website
- Create, monitor, share, and act on information from custom reports which include fuel misuse, traffic violations, and related data
- Track aging of new and retired vehicles including reconciliations and registrations
- Assist Fleet Manager in processing driver approvals and reissuing vehicles
- Coordinate with Human Resources department for keeping updated records of driver licenses and driver validations
- Ensure that transportation and compliance activities are in compliance with the provisions of Operations & Logistics policies
- Assist with the issuing and reissuing of fuel cards and maintenance cards
- Maintain a highly organizational work environment to ensure that time sensitive activities are completed on time and required resources are made available in a timely manner
- Manage multiple objectives and prioritize projects in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Work independently with accountability and integrity to achieve time sensitive deadlines
- Other unlisted duties will be assigned
Qualifications
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Fleet Administration
- Moderate to high level of computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- High School Diploma or GED
- Be able to communicate in English via verbal and written communications
- Job is indoors in office environment
- Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily product/technical nature.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
