Job Description:

We have an exciting full-time opportunity for an Environmental Compliance Manager to support our rapidly growing Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) consulting practice in Hunt Valley, MD.

What you will do:

As an Environmental Compliance Manager, you will collaborate with an experienced team to support environmental compliance, management, and stewardship programs for a broad range of clients. Specific duties include:



  • Regulatory applicability analysis and permitting of new or changing operations and assets.
  • Development of compliance plans (e.g., SPCC plans and SWPPPs) and procedures.
  • Regulatory reporting (e.g., RCRA biennial report, EPCRA Tier 2 and TRI, etc.).
  • Compliance auditing, training, and management system implementation support.

The Environmental Compliance Manager role will include a combination of office-based work, field activities, and travel. This position can be hybrid (home and office).

What you will need:



  • B.S. degree in environmental science or related discipline; master's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience supporting or leading EHSS projects and programs.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations.
  • Experience preparing compliance plans (e.g., SPCC plans and SWPPPs) and procedures.
  • Experience with regulatory reporting (e.g., RCRA biennial reports, EPCRA Tier 2 and TRI, etc.).
  • Ability to perform compliance audits, lead or support training efforts, and other broad-based environmental management activities.
  • Have interest and experience in coordinating and managing field teams and subcontractors.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills are required.
  • Candidate must be able to work as a team member across technical disciplines.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to learn quickly are critical.
  • Comfortable working in the field, in the office, and virtually.

Anticipated salary range of $85,000 to $105,000 per year.
