Occupational Therapist, Home Care Rehab Per Diem Day
POSITION SUMMARY:
To evaluate and treat patients in a variety of age groups with physical disabilities, injuries, and diseases utilizing techniques which incorporate functional activities, exercise, physical modalities, splinting, perceptual and cognitive training, and activities of daily living and work simulation.
EDUCATION:
Graduation from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association with a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
EXPERIENCE:
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certified and re-certified. NJ Licensure, March 2000. Current and valid CPR Certification. Keyboard skills. Ability to perform work accurately and give attention to details. Ability to use effective critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to use effective time management to set priorities and perform job-related responsibilities. Ability to communicate and interact with the health-system, patients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members. Ability to function competently in a changing work environment related to changing patient needs.
