Job Summary

The Commercial Operations department at Medpace is seeking an experienced Rapid Application Developer. This role will be focused on developing and building in-house applications, leveraging power platform, designed to improve the lives of our business users. This individual will work directly with end users across ComOps to identify and translate needs into solutions.



Responsibilities

    Collaboration - work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate those into novel and quickly adopted technical solutions
  • Application development - design, develop, and maintain custom applications using RAD methodologies
  • Testing and QA - develop and execute test plans to ensure reliability and accuracy of applications
  • Documentation - maintain clear documentation of code, process, and system configurations
  • Support and maintenance - provide ongoing support for existing applications
  • Innovation - stay current on relevant technologies to continuously improve and innovate


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in application development
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related degree. Masters in related field preferred; not required.
  • General understanding of software development & project management methodologies
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages such as Python, C#, VBA, and SQL
  • Proficiency/experience with Power Platform
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
