Job Description

Performs routine maintenance activities on equipment and facility.

Pay Rate $18.50

Responsibilities

1. Assist in the maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

2. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.

3. Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.

4. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

5. Document maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment manuals.

6. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

7. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge in mechatronics.

Qualifications

1. Currently enrolled in a Mechatronics program or similar technical field.

2. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

3. Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.

4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

6. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

7. Previous experience or coursework in maintenance or related field is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Enrollment in one of the following education programs:

    • Mechatronics Technology Associate in Applied Science
    • Electronics Engineering Technology Associate in Applied Science
    • Mechanical Engineering TechnologyAssociate in Applied Science


  • Maintenance of a minimum of 2.8 GPA
  • Maintenance of enrollment each semester until graduation
  • Adherence to site and department safety rules

Benefits

1. Sealed Air will pay for all tuition expenses related to the Mechatronics program.

2. Flexible part-time work schedule to accommodate school commitments.

3. Starting pay of $18.50 per hour.

4. Upon graduation, eligible for consideration for full-time roles starting at $30 per hour.
