CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST

Provides clinical expertise in the delivery of interventions and programs within a Diabeticpatient population. Assists the multidisciplinary team in the implementation and evaluation of the plan of care. Provides recommendations to nursing leadership regarding developments in the respective clinical specialty.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

New York State License as a registered Clinical Nurse Specialist

New York State Registered Nurse License

Masters or doctoral degree in nursing as a Clinical NurseSpecialist.

Minimum of fiveyearsclinical practice experience, three of which must be in the specialty or a combination of education and specialty experience

Certification in specialty and/or subspecialty required.
