The Department of Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking motivated applicants for an open rank faculty position as a Surgical Oncologist at the Montefiore/Einstein National Cancer Institute Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The ideal candidate should be collaborative and versed in all aspects of Surgical Oncologist including routine open and laparoscopic cases, and the management of complex oncological patient issues. The candidate will have full support of the Department of Surgery. Successful applicants will be able to build a strong academic practice through teamwork with the multispecialty group and the NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Candidates should be Board Certified/Eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Oncology. Candidates are expected to support the goals and activities of the Medical School and Cancer Center including research and teaching. Duties include management of inpatient and outpatient management of cancer patients and work with existing surgical specialties. Patient mix includes all gastrointestinal, abdominal, endocrine, and solid tumor management.

In addition to a competitive salary of $325,000-$450,000 commensurate with academic rank, we offer the opportunity to enhance compensation with clinical productivity incentives and bonuses.
