PT Opening Life Guard - Beverly YMCA

The Beverly YMCA provides full-service swim programs for ages 6 months & up with a variety of programming options including swim lessons, swim team, adaptive inclusion programs, aqua exercise, leadership development, and lifeguard training. On a regular day, you will provide direct service through attentive lifeguarding, ensuring the safety and well-being of all swimmers at indoor and outdoor pools during our opening hours. The role is for someone who loves an early start to the day.

To thrive in this role, you have proven leadership experience and exemplary customer service skills to ensure the satisfactory experience of participants and the regular return of members. You have experience assessing the skill level of swimmers and can provide direction in maintaining the safety of the pool.

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• YUSA swim instructor/lifeguard certified preferred, but not required, training may be provided
• Schedule is Monday - Friday 4:45am to 9am
