Job Description Summary:

The Production Technician will be assembling and tests all Sundyne Sealless Diaphragm Compressors (PPI). This requires the need to reference drawings, work orders and other instructions provided by supervision or engineering. Must work closely with engineering and planning to determine testing and witness schedules for each order.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assembles precision machine components for Sundyne Sealless Diaphragm Compressors (PPI)

  • Must be able to build and test PPI compressors.

  • Executes all set up and unit testing. Monitors, calculates and records test data per established engineering, customer and quality specifications. Must verify the calibration of all test equipment.

  • Must interface with engineering and customers, including 3rd party inspectors.

  • Perform all required machine TPM on unit test stands.

  • Utilizes safe working habits so as not to endanger self, others, equipment or property.

  • Maintains work areas in a neat and orderly manner to minimize unsafe conditions and maximize efficiency.

  • Strives to maintain high personal productivity level and performs other related duties as assigned, as well as training other employees when necessary.

  • Be willing to work necessary OT to meet shipping and customer deadlines.

Skill & Abilities

  • Ability to read and interpret machine drawings to verify part conformance when issues arise.

  • Proficient in using precise measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers and bore gauges.

  • Understand instrumentation use and calibration of all test stand equipment.

  • Ability to follow written instructions, procedures and IOMs

    Compensation Details

    Hourly: $23.00 - $28.00

    Additional Compensation

    Hourly Rate for this position will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities, and will be compared with internal equity along with market data for this position. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus through the company bonus program. This position may also be eligible to receive a Relocation bonus, payable as a taxable lump sum, by the Sundyne Relocation Policy.
