Operates ultrasound scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Duties are including but not limited to performing high quality diagnostic non-invasive vascular examinations involving disorders affecting the vascular systems, providing accurate medical descriptions and preliminary interpretations (verbal and written) for physician review and operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
REQUIRED: Certifiedor eligible for certification by: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), (VS) OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Sonography (ARRT) (S) (VS)). OR Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
