The Department of Pathology of UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an accomplished Academic Molecular Pathologist with subspecialty training and/or expertise in molecular diagnostics, genetic and/or genomic testing. Candidates must possess an MD, MD/PhD, PhD, or DO; BE/BC by ABP or AMGG in AP, AP/CP, Molecular Genetic Pathology, or Laboratory Genetics and Genomics certification; and be eligible for or hold a Texas medical license, if appropriate. In addition to patient care activities, the incumbent will be expected to participate in medical student and house staff teaching and develop or continue his/her research program. Outstanding opportunities for collaborative, translational research are available with members of basic science and clinical departments throughout UTSW.
