The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is seeking a faculty member specializing Gastrointestinal Cancers. Applicant must have an M.D. degree or equivalent, from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program from an ACGME accredited program. Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and be board certified in Internal Medicine. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology is preferred. This position will cover patients in the Cancer Care Outpatient Building and William P. Clements, Jr. University Hospital. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to existing clinical research opportunities and teaching of UTSW students, house staff and hematology/oncology fellows. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
