Job Summary The accountant II position will be responsible in assisting pre and post award management of assigned faculty by relaying funding opportunities sent by Sponsored Programs administrations and other forms of sources. Additionally, this position researches and interprets relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards, and oversees the processing of contracts and/or grants, to include working with Principal Investigators to manage pre- and post-award processes. This position requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral, strong collaboration and teamwork skills, basic knowledge of grant proposals, budgets, and Federal and State sponsor guidelines within a university setting.
