Description

The Utility Branch Supervisor is responsible for assisting the assigned Branch and Branch Service Manager with day to day transactions and responsibilities. The Utility Branch Supervisor provides guidance, direction, and supervision to staff in the absence of the Branch Service Manager or upon request. The Utility Branch Supervisor ensures the delivery of high quality customer service while enforcing security and safety in accordance with Bank policies and procedures. The Utility Branch
Supervisor works cooperatively with the Branch Service Manager to incorporate the Banks values and objectives into the Branch acting as a leader in maintaining a motivated branch staff focused on sales and customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Process deposits, withdrawals, check cash and other transactions quickly and accurately.
  • Ensure that negotiable instruments and cash are accounted for by following proper security policies and procedures.
  • Answer branch telephone calls and assist with customer requests or issues.
  • Review and verify daily reports assigned by Branch Management.
  • Perform all functions of assigned staff as needed in order to service customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Deliver high quality customer service on a consistent basis to all clients -both external as well as internal clients.
  • Functions in all areas of new accounts including technical, sales and services to ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Train, coach and motivate staff on selling and closing techniques to sell various Bank products and identify cross selling opportunities with new and existing customers as needed.
  • Maintains an updated knowledge of the bank's products and services.
  • Liaison with the Branch Service Manager to ensure that the staff is fully functional in all aspects of sales and service.
  • Encourage the sales process though an active participation in sales activities including participating in community events.
  • Make sales of Bank products to new and existing business and consumer customers to achieve both individual and Branch goals.
  • Participate in sales activities including participating in community events to increase the visibility of the Bank within the community.
  • Assist in special projects relating to operational efficiencies, acquisitions, and product development.
  • Other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS



  • 3+ years of experience in the banking industry.
  • 1+ years of experience supervising and leading teams.
  • Willing to travel to other branches as needed.
  • Ability to cover teller line and/or new accounts.



A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary or pay for this position is $21.66/hr to $32.49/hr. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. A business line incentive may be provided ranging from 0% - 20% of the base salary offered, in addition to a medical and other benefits, dependent on the position.
