Responsibilities

Join Peraton in support to USINDOPACOM, its subordinate unified commands, component commands, direct reporting units, standing joint task forces, and strategic mission partners. We will provide enterprise-wide professional services to address staffing gaps and sustain operational readiness during peacetime, wartime, and contingency operations. Our services will cover critical functions that enable effective and efficient mission execution in a dynamic global threat and geo-political security environment across the USINDOPACOM AOR. They include but are not limited to Program Management and Services in Planning, Logistics, Training, Strategic Engagement, Analytics, Business Management and Communication.

As the Planning Services Manager, you shall provide planning services to frame the problem; align ends, ways, and means; develop operational approaches; account for risk; and give leaders decision space with proposed military options. These services involve understanding and determining how to implement strategic guidance using U.S. government and military capabilities (domestic and foreign) to achieve national objectives. Planning services span across all domains (land, air, maritime, space, and cyberspace), may be strategic or operational in nature, and include assisting with the development, coordination, and execution of Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Courses of Actions (COAs), Operation Plans (OPLANs); Wargaming and Exercise Planning; assessing, analyzing, and evaluating, the effectiveness and efficiency of planning activities and outcomes; drafting, recommending, or updating reports essential to planning activities and decision making such as Execution Orders (EXORDs), Operation Orders (OPORDS), campaign plans, policies, and other strategic and authoritative documents as required; researching and analyzing strategic issues/initiatives; foreign military assistance and crisis response; and recommending tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), roadmaps; documenting lessons learned and conducting After Action Reviews (AARs); and drafting information papers as required.



Qualifications

Requirements:

    Cleared for Top Secret (TS) information and eligible for access to SCI.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in military operations or strategic planning within a defense or government agency.
  • Experience in multi-domain operations and strategic planning, including land, air, maritime, space, and cyberspace.
  • Experience with wargaming and simulation tools.

Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Relations, Military Studies, or a related field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of U.S. strategic policies and military capabilities.
  • Familiarity with strategic documents such as EXORDs, OPORDs, and campaign plans.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM).

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
