    Travel up to 15% of the time

Responsibilities

The Photogrammetrist provides support to a national security customer, including, but not limited to sensor and geolocation system evaluation support, applying stereo imagery expertise for quality assurance of precise imagery products, and evaluating emerging imaging technologies. The Photogrammetrist will help identify and adapt methods to increase the relative and absolute positioning accuracy of imagery from sensors to support both mono- and stereo-exploitation. They will apply photogrammetric principles to review image assessment, point selection, mensuration, triangulation, orthorectification, and processing to produce standard and non-standard image products. Working in tandem with internal and external team members and clients, the Photogrammetrist will research, test, and validate image products, review and improve Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, and assist in modernizing and automating processes in alignment with services based architectures.



Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated Geomatics experience or work supporting a DoD or IC Geomatics effort.

  • Demonstrated sensor evaluation experience supporting a DoD or IC effort.

  • Advanced understanding of photogrammetric principles.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) field; or military equivalent. Additional experience can be substituted for education.

  • Advanced understanding of mathematical and statistical principles.

  • Experience using ESRI ArcGIS Pro, Socet Set/Socet GP, ENVI, ERDAS Imagine or similar software packages.

  • Proficiency with Python scripting is preferred.

  • Candidates may be required to demonstrate stereo vision capabilities.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain a Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph.

Competencies & Skills:

  • Ability to apply structured processes to enrich or manage data.

  • Ability to apply GEOINT standards and quality.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform a variety of data exploitation techniques.

  • Comfortable working with a team to achieve project completion.

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite
