NV5 has fulltime positions available for Asphalt Plant Inspectors to support continuing services contracts for Turnpike, and various FDOT districts. We have opportunities in Central Florida and South Florida. Competitive wages and excellent opportunities.

Our Asphalt Plant Inspection Team provides Inspectors at the Asphalt plant to monitor all aspects of the Contractor's Quality Control Plan for adherence to the Specifications .
• Monitor QC Test Results to ensure that they are within tolerance of the Mix Design being used.
• Observe the sampling processes and all testing by the Quality Control Department and report any trends observed, as well as any Test Results that are outside the perimeters of Specifications. (Master Production Range)
• Periodically do Comparison Testing to ensure compliance with between Lab Precision Values.

Education/Qualifications:

• Candidate should have the ability to work independently, have good mathematical and computer Skills.
• Specific project training will be provided.

Certifications/Licenses:

• Valid Driver License
• High School Diploma
• Asphalt Plant 1 and 2 are plus
