NV5 is seeking a talented Water Resources Engineer/Project Manager to join our thriving Water Resources Engineering Group in Albuquerque. If you're passionate about water resources and have hands-on experience in AutoCAD and ArcGIS, we encourage you to explore this exciting opportunity.

Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed design and construction plan drawings from sketches, existing drawings, electronic images, and verbal descriptions.
• Work closely with Senior Designers, Project Managers, and the Department Director to implement project design and production requirements, ensuring compliance with company and client standards.
• Develop exhibits to accompany reports, demonstrating a willingness to learn and apply AutoCAD, Civil3D, and ArcGIS techniques.
• Implement AutoCAD standards and quality procedures to ensure that all drawings convey complete and accurate information.
• Collaborate with project team members, other departments, and sub-consultants to achieve project objectives.
• Be adaptable and take on various tasks as needed to support project and team goals.

• Proven track record in water resources or civil engineering, with a focus on design and construction for water resource projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and construction plan preparation, including plan and profiles, cross-sections, grading, and drainage plans.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS and Civil3D is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all work.
• Ability to independently manage multiple assignments, demonstrating initiative and responsibility in project delivery.
• Familiarity with NM APWA and NM DOT design standards and practices.
• Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with ArcGIS is a plus.
• Willingness to occasionally work overtime, including weekends, to meet project deadlines.
