Job Description

Position: Engineering Co-op

Primary Location: Tulsa, OK

Schedule: Full time, on site

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

Compensation: $22-29 per hour

The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire houly rates for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

About This Role and About You

We are looking for a Co-op Student to join our team on a current SAP S/4 Hana Asset management implementation project. The position is based at our Tulsa Plant with travel to different plants within the US. Candidates must have attention to detail and confidence in their ability to gather and transpose data accurately.

You must be a student currently enrolled in an Engineering program.

Duration: 4 or 8 month terms available. Priority will be given to students available for longer terms.

Responsibilities:

    Understanding, upholding, demonstrating, and improving the Chemtrade safety culture
  • Working side by side with our engineering team and plant employees and other contractors collecting plant data in order to
  • Compare plant equipment with Piping and Instrument Diagrams, update diagrams as needed and compile equipment lists.

Qualifications:

Education: 2nd or 3rd Year Engineering Student

Technical Skills: Knowledgeable in Engineering principles.

  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to use Excel to, sort, review, edit, and other functions
  • The ability to collect and organize data from multiple sources
  • P&ID understanding
  • The ability to manipulate data with accuracy and focus

Physical Requirement:

  • constantly move around a large facility
  • able to work at a computer
  • ability to lift 20 lbs
