Position Summary

Working under the direction of Generalist Portfolio Managers, this position will provide analytical and research support to the Generalist Portfolio Managers and the Co-CIOs of the Fixed Income group at TCW.



Essential Duties

    Provide support to the generalist portfolio management team
  • Ad hoc and recurring research projects and analytical work as directed
  • Portfolio monitoring and reporting
  • Write commentary, reports, responses, summaries, etc.


Required Qualifications

  • At least 3-7 years of experience as an analyst on Wall Street, an investment banking/sales trading associate, or an analyst within a Fixed Income investment team
  • Strong understanding of economics, economic data, and financial markets
  • Solid knowledge of fixed income markets, fixed income instruments and analytics
  • Excellent financial, mathematical and statistical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or related field with demonstrated academic achievement;
  • CFA designation or progress towards obtaining one is preferred


Professional Skills Qualifications

  • Strong writing and communication skills; able to work with individuals at all levels within the organization
  • Excellent work ethic

Estimated Compensation:

Base Salary: For CA based position, the base salary range is $150k -$175k. This represents base salary range only.

Other Compensation:In addition to the base salary, this position will be eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus.
