Position Title: IT Business Process Effectiveness Leader

location: Alpharetta, GA / Hybrid

As an IT Business Process Effectiveness Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in aligning technology solutions with our business objectives, working in an open, collaborative manner to inspire optimal solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams, ensuring seamless adoption of new processes and systems. Your ability to understand business needs and translate them into actionable plans will be critical. This role will be key in implementing Salesforce over the next year and the ongoing opportunities to evolve the processes and technologies in this space to drive value through executing the business vision.

The role requires a blend of strong business knowledge, particularly in manufacturing industry, technical expertise, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and manage Salesforce projects effectively. responsibilities:

  • Business Alignment
    • Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
    • Develop and maintain an understanding of the overall business including the processes, objectives, goals, and requirements.
    • Proactively collaborate and engage with business partners to identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and value creation.
    • Align on and execute work that drives value and aligns with the business vision, strategies, and priorities.
    • Conduit into both the business and IT.
  • Proactive Solutions Development and Delivery
    • Support the implementation of Salesforce across all business units. Understand the business requirements, create and prioritize user stories, and establish their business acceptance criteria for success.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders (business users, management, and IT) to understand business needs, coordinate the intake process, and translate them into technical requirements.
    • Utilize the understanding of the business needs and challenges to identify opportunities to address through process or technology.
    • Conduct detailed process analysis and documentation, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
    • Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
    • Champion value driven decision making and drive consensus towards simplified and unified processes across all businesses.
    • Be passionate and relentless about solving problems, always looking for better/more effective ways to deliver better results. Innovate and adapt as needed.
    • Develop and maintain a technical competency in the technology platforms, including Salesforce and surrounding systems.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Salesforce team and the broader Salesforce user community.
    • Drive out waste in spend by ensuring ROI is optimized for by evaluating adoption and value realization.
    • Support basic configuration of Salesforce settings, objects, workflows, validation rules, etc. as needed.
    • Partner with Project Management team to oversee the testing process, including plan development, conducting user acceptance testing and ensuring issues are resolved.
  • Ongoing Process and Solution Advancement
    • Continually drive advancement and adoption of solutions by collaborating with business leads and IT on projects, enhancements, and the strategic roadmap.
    • Provide insights and identify opportunities where technology can enhance efficiency and effectiveness to enable business value.
    • Collaborate with the business to evolve capabilities in people, process, and tools to ensure they are being utilized to drive maximum value.
    • Drive improvements by working with cross functional teams to improve user experience across platforms and to facilitate adoption and to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Drive process and tool innovation and advancements by understanding how to leverage tools such as artificial intelligence and machine learning for value creation and incorporating into the roadmap.
  • Change Management
    • Prepare the business for change as part of process improvement.
    • Create and maintain training content and job aids to help onboard, train and execute tasks in Salesforce or other technologies.
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting activities for Salesforce users.
    • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to ensure users are proficient in using Salesforce and other technologies.
    • Recommend and leverage new functionalities by staying up to date on Salesforce releases and features.

qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM solution as an end user, analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of CRM business process in the Manufacturing industry.
  • Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and other relevant Salesforce products would be a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Project management skills and familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is beneficial.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience using Monday.com for project management.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

  • Role is primarily based in Alpharetta, GA office.
  • Role will be 50% travel as short term and reduce to 25% long term.
  • A hybrid work solution will be considered.
