Stanley Consultants is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to perform Federal airfield paving, site development, and other infrastructure designs. Preferred office locations are Austin TX, Baton Rouge LA, Chicago IL, Denver CO, Des Moines IA, Iowa City IA, Minneapolis MN, Muscatine IA, or Phoenix AZ. The successful candidate will exercise judgment in evaluating, selecting, and applying standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to make design decisions and modifications. The position will include plan and specification preparation. The position will be initially accountable to the Federal Civil Department manager while working with Project Managers for project. The candidate will potentially lead a team of civil engineers, designers, & technicians with responsibility for delegating work tasks, managing the work schedule and ensuring proper work coordination amongst the team and with other technical disciplines. The candidate will be expected to mentor younger staff on design projects. Work will be on projects primarily for Department of Defense & other federal clients from a variety of branches and districts. Projects will utilize domestic and international standards. Assignments will occasionally include projects for local municipalities, private industrial clients, utility operators and public institutions. What You Will Be Doing:

Base Compensation: $103,300 - $137,600 Stanley Consultants is committed to maintaining transparency in our hiring process, including providing information about compensation. The starting salary for the successful candidate in this position is competitive and will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications and experience, geographic location, internal equity, company policy and practices. Stanley's Approach to Flexibility While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule. Members who participate will be assigned a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off! What we offer:
