For more information on Stanley Consultants, please visit https://www.stanleyconsultants.com. Stanley Consultants is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work in our Austin, TX office. In this position, you will work as a discipline lead or project engineer with mentoring opportunities to building project management skills and capabilities on a variety of projects. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in mechanical system design for diverse project types. Building mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, steam, hydronic heating and cooling, and compressed air. Project types include renovations and new construction. Design tasks include general arrangements, piping and ductwork layout, and equipment selections. Work focuses primarily on these services; central heating and cooling plants, campus utility distribution systems, industrial/process facilities, power, and other infrastructure projects. The projects are large and small; local, nationwide, and possible worldwide; and for industrial, higher education, utility, federal, and municipal clients. JOB SUMMARY: The senior mechanical engineer role is responsible for determining the technical approach, validating the design criteria, directing more junior staff, and performing detailed design tasks such as calculations, specifications, and drawing preparation. This person must coordinate with others on multidiscipline design team and prepare high quality deliverables. This individual will be expected to perform design duties with minimal supervision and have ability to communicate within a team environment. Base Compensation: $117,900 - $158,200 Stanley Consultants is committed to maintaining transparency in our hiring process, including providing information about compensation. The starting salary for the successful candidate in this position is competitive and will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications and experience, geographic location, internal equity, company policy and practices. Stanley's Approach to Flexibility While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule. Members who participate will be assigned a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off! What we offer:
