Overview ***This position requires on-site patient visits.*** ***This position is not remote.*** The Elizabeth Hospice is San Diego's oldest non-profit hospice of 45 years. We are growing and looking for talented individuals to join our high performing team and support our mission. We serve all of San Diego county and south Riverside county with multiple hospice office locations. Our Mission: To enhance the quality of life for those nearing the end of life's journey and for those who grieve. The Triage RN is primarily responsible for providing skilled nursing visits, assessments, and care in order to maximize the comfort of patients across the life span (perinatal, pediatrics, and adults) and families consistent with The Elizabeth Hospice protocols and standards. Salary: $45 - $61 per hour. Compensation is determined by years of licensure. Schedule: Full-time (3x10) willing to entertain 4x10, 9:30pm to 8am, 1/2 hour meal break Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday On Call Frequency: 15 hours per month (1 15-hour shift or 1 8-hour and 1 7-hour shift) RNs will receive an additional shift differential pay of $6 per hour when at least 2 hours of a shift are worked between 7:00pm-7:00am. Responsibilities 1. Performs visits as needed and directed by the triage team: Qualifications 1. Must have Associates Degree, Bachelor Degree preferred, and a minimum of 12 months experience with 1-2 years preferred in acute care; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
