Job DescriptionAbout the Role: As a memeber of the Service Engineering organization, the Metrology Specialist is responsible for but not limited to executing annual calibration and preventative maintenance of ancillary lab equipment. The Metrology Specialist must also be sensitive to the demanding regulatory compliance requirements vital to the operation of a pharmaceutical testing laboratory.The Metrology Specialist will support the sustainability function of our Metrology Group, which includes but is not limited to annual calibrations and preventative maintenances of ancillary equipment, standards inventory management, and adhering to Good Documentation Practice. The Metrology Specialist has the ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Physical Requirements
For positions based in Palo Alto, CA or Redwood City, CA, the hourly range for this full-time position is $33 to $44.66. The range does not include benefits and, if applicable, overtime, bonus, commission, or equity. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment.Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment.Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
