Duties and responsibilities:

  • Baker Commodities utilizes a Microsoft based information systems environment.
  • Coordinates and participates in system testing in conjunction with other involved parties.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop front-end web-based applications that support the client requirements.
  • Along with other members of the IT department, provides desktop support to all staff.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Works alongside with and supports other IT department team members with various technology related projects.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills and is able to converse with all levels within the organization.
  • Interact with others in a professional and ethical manner
  • Follow department and company procedures
  • Keep up regular attendance and punctuality; regular attendance and punctuality are essential for the smooth operation of this company
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Professional Certifications, Education, Experience and Travel Requirements

Has a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with:

  • JS Framework (Vue preferred)
  • AJAX
  • CSS Less
  • HTML
  • Bonus knowledge
  • Typescript +
  • .Net Core RazorPages +
  • Graphic Design/PS
  • MSSQL

Good communication and customer services skills.

Ability to work with end users at all levels throughout the organization.

Up to 20% travel to nearby local offices.

Physical Demands/Requirements

Constantly (over 2/3):

  • Operates computer and other office productivity machinery such as calculator, copy machine and printer.
  • Remain in a stationary position for 50% or more of the time
  • Communicates with customers and co-workers and exchanges accurate information in-person, telephonically and via electronic devices/e-mail

Frequently (1/3-2/3):

  • Moves throughout office accessing files, office machinery, etc.
  • Travels to local office / division offices

Occasionally (under 1/3):

  • moves, lifts, pushes and pulls equipment and material up to 50 lbs
  • moves, climbs, stoops, kneels, crouches, reaches and handles equipment
