Position Description Summary: |
The George Washington University School of Business (
GWSB) invites applications for a specialized teaching position at the rank of Teaching Assistant Professor or Teaching Instructor in Marketing starting as early as Fall 2024. This is a contractual position for 3 academic years and may be renewed. We invite applications from candidates with strong teaching credentials in fields of marketing at the
MBA and undergraduate levels. The successful candidate is expected to teach a select subset of courses from the fields of Digital Marketing, Digital Analytics, Marketing Management, AI and Marketing Strategy, Neuromarketing, and Distribution Strategy. We welcome applicants who have an interest in developing new and innovative courses in evolving fields of marketing. |
Specific Duties and Responsibilities: |
The successful candidate will teach a six-course load, and perform service for the Department and School. This is primarily a teaching and service position but the candidate will be given the option to do some publication related to teaching such as cases, texts, or articles in practitioner or education journals. |
Minimum Qualifications: |
Applicants must have earned a Master's degree or higher in Marketing or a closely related field. Applicants must demonstrate the potential for teaching excellence and the communication skills to perform well in the classroom. |
Advertised Salary: |
$90,000 to $120,000 (commensurate with experience) |
