Overview

TRC is seeking a Senior Project Manager join our Baton Rouge, Louisiana Engineering, Construction, and Remediation team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual and is a results-oriented leader who works with stakeholders to understand project needs and manages teams to deliver services to meet those requirements. The project manager is responsible for networking with clients to identify and define projects, developing and negotiating proposals, building teams of technical staff and sub-consultants to execute work, maintaining quality and risk management processes to keep work on track, and delivering according to scope, schedule, and budget.


Responsibilities

  • Management of environmental audit, compliance assessments, report preparation, task management, and subcontractor oversight.
  • Experience managing, and monitoring project budgets, scopes, and schedules; demonstrate the ability to lead and manage compliance and site assessment projects.
  • Relevant experience working directly with industrial clients and display service-oriented attitude to address their regulatory EHS compliance challenges and issues
  • Review and prepare proposals and statement of qualifications.
  • Work to cross-sell TRC services and increase business from existing accounts.
  • Creates and executes project work plans and staffing plans.
  • Manages project risk by understanding and following risk management procedures.

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience with an environmental consulting/engineering firm that has project experience in environmental auditing, environmental compliance, due diligence, and other environmental matters.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in geology, environmental sciences, engineering, or related field of study from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated success in project management and client management.
  • Working knowledge of environmental regulations (RCRA, NPDES, CERCLA, etc.) and state regulatory agencies (TCEQ, RRC, NMED, NMOCD).
  • Ability to interface well with and develop a positive relationship with our clients and employees.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
