Summary: The Pricing Data Analyst plays a crucial role in optimizing our pricing strategies by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting pricing data to maximize profitably when making recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Management, Finance, Purchasing and Customer Experience to understand pricing objectives and challenges.
  • Perform statistical analyses on pricing data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact pricing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models that incorporate market dynamics, customer behavior, and cost structures to recommend optimal pricing strategies.
  • Gather and organize pricing data from various sources, including internal databases, market research, and competitor analyses.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Create data visualizations, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data collection processes and systems for more efficient data analysis.
  • Assist in the implementation of pricing strategies and provide ongoing analysis to evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Process, submit, and reconcile ship and debit rebate claims with vendor partners, product teams, and finance.


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field OR at least 5 years of related experience is required.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to draw insights from complex and diverse datasets. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Familiarity with pricing strategies, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Contract Specialist, Data Analyst, Pricing Analyst, or similar Pricing role.
  • Requires knowledge of and the ability to use Microsoft office products including Teams, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working with price optimization software.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
