Responsibilities:


  • Manages all aspects of outside sales within a designated Colorado territory, targeting and maintaining key customer relationships to increase market share.
  • Secures orders through facility visits, phone, and video calls, and develops sales strategies with management to meet annual targets.
  • Expands the sales base by building rapport with existing and potential clients, responding to inquiries about product features and applications, and preparing proposals and quotations.
  • Collaborates with internal teams and factory representatives to grow revenue, qualify accounts, and identify new opportunities.
  • Regularly learns new products, participates in sales calls, product demonstrations, and submits activity reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Qualifications & Skills:


  • Technical college degree or minimum of three years in industrial distribution sales, with strong technical/mechanical aptitude.
  • Expertise in at least one area: Machine Control, Motion Control, Safety, or Robotics, with a proven track record of year-over-year sales growth.
  • Self-directed with a powerful sense of urgency, accountability, and ability to qualify market potential and build customer relationships.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to read manuals, blueprints, and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to "doing it right the first time" and working productively with others.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to work in industrial environments, with regular travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays.
