Overview TRC is currently interviewing for an Environmental Technician for our Environmental Division in Blacksburg, Virginia. As a Field Technician for our Environmental Services Division, you'll be part of a highly trained and experienced team that performs environmental compliance, permitting, remediation, and due diligence for landfill, industrial, and institutional projects. This is an entry-level position (1-3 years) that performs field work such as logging numerical and visual observations, collecting samples of site matrices, preparing and packing samples, recording test results, performing photo documentation, and routine administrative support functions for the office. The Environmental Technician will work on a wide range of environmental projects in a team support role. Operate equipment, instruments and systems used in the collection of data associated with the prevention, control, assessment, and remediation of environmental contaminants including waste treatment and site remediation. In addition, position will include assisting project managers with soil and groundwater sampling, gas monitoring, performing environmental site assessments, data analysis and report preparation. Work will be focused on specific environmental projects under the direction and supervision of the Project Manager and Field Services Coordinator. Responsibilities Responsibilities

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
