Apply Now > Save Job Job Saved The Application Engineering Chemical Technician will create value for our global customer base by providing technical lab support for the product lines of the Elastomer Process Materials (EPM) division. This includes RTS adhesives (Chemlok), coatings (Sipiol), flock adhesives (Flocklok), chemical products, and specialty materials. The incumbent must be a highly motivated, self-starter with an attention to detail, excellent communication, and time management skills. The position requires planning and scheduling of daily/weekly work assignments to complete the required tasks on time and in an efficient manner. This position requires the handling of chemicals and associated application equipment in a prescribed, safe, and effective manner. The individual should have chemical safety awareness and follow accepted procedures and laboratory safety best practices. It is expected the candidate will maintain a safe and efficient laboratory working environment. The individual should be capable of understanding safety data sheets (SDS) and be conscientious of chemical hygiene and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The individual will report to the Application Engineering Manager but may be directed in their activities by other specified personnel.
