Position Summary

Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as injection molding, compression molding, mixing, milling, and extruding machines.

Essential Functions

  • Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance to injection molding, compression molding, mixing, milling, and extruding machines.
  • Repair auxiliary equipment such as mold heaters, ovens, loaders, spoolers, pumps, and parts conveyors by dismantling, cleaning and replacing worn or defective parts and assemblies.
  • Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove and replace any defective parts.
  • May be required to research part availability and initiates purchase order for needed repair parts.
  • Perform building maintenance as required.
  • Work cross functionally to support company LEAN and High Performance team objectives and initiatives.
  • Adheres to all Parker safety and quality standards.
  • Other duties and projects as required

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship or have U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, basic electrical, and PLC logic is preferred.
  • Molding industry experience preferred.
  • Strong communications and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read and follow written and/or verbal instruction in English.
  • Ability to lift and or move up to 40 lbs.
