Overview: S4 Inc. employees selected for this position will be supporting USSTRATCOM JEMSO missions in order to provide the JEMSO Director with Planning, Analysis, Spectrum Management, and Intelligence support. In addition, S4 employees will support Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) for JCER to accomplish Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) readiness evaluations.
Specific Duties: In this position, you will be responsible for:
Developing detailed mission analysis and integration of resources to determine capabilities to meet the JCER mission;
Conducting tactical, operational, and strategic level research concerning the impact of existing and emerging JEMSO threats to joint operations;
Making recommendations to service or joint tactics, weapon schools, or publications based on findings of JCER evaluations;
Analyzing threat data and controlling receipt and dissemination of foreign intelligence information
Evaluating emerging EMSO threats in order to present findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on evaluation results
Qualifications:
Twelve (12) plus years of experience in Special Operations
Understanding of current SOF capabilities across all activities (direct action, special reconnaissance, countering weapons of mass destruction, counterterrorism, unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, security force assistance, hostage rescue and recovery, counterinsurgency, foreign humanitarian assistance, military information support operations, and civil affairs operations)
Experience conducting studies, performing research, reporting, and making recommendations concerning instrumentation and evaluation resources necessary to execute risk reduction
Experience at the tactical and operational level with EMS; communications equipment, and non-kinetic effects planning, execution, and evaluation processes
Desired:
Bachelor's degree
Fifteen (15) years of experience in air, land, and sea special operations and combat systems
Experience working with partnering agencies that share interests in support of data collection, reduction, or JEMSO operations;
Operational experience of Electromagnetic Attack (EA), Electromagnetic Protection (EP), Electromagnetic Support (ES), and spectrum management
Training and certification as a PMP are highly recommended for individuals lacking requisite military leadership experience
