Our employee-owned and integrated team of multi-disciplined design and engineering professionals has an exciting opportunity available for an architect with a demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships and a passion for designing and managing government and civic facilities to join our team.
As the Government Market Manager, you will be responsible for advancing our design services and capabilities within the government and civic markets around the Minneapolis-St Paul metro area, greater Minnesota, Wisconsin, and other prospective markets. You will be responsible for assessing strategic business objectives and outlining annual client and market development plans that continuously focus on cultivating and deepening relations with key stakeholders, increasing awareness of TKDA's multi-discipline services, enhancing our team's design capabilities, and ensuring our project deliverables align with the needs and operations of the respective markets. Additionally, in collaboration with other market managers and multi-discipline technical group managers, you will be responsible for identifying strategic clients, tracking prospective opportunities, evaluating pursuit requirements against team capabilities, leading or co-leading proposal development efforts, preparing and facilitating project interviews and capabilities presentations, and cross-selling engineering and design services across markets.
As a Market Manager, you will also oversee project management activities of all sector projects and be responsible for collaborating with project managers and technical group managers to define project scope and scheduling requirements, negotiate contracts, assemble project teams, establish and adhere to design standards, review design plans for quality and accuracy, and monitor expenditures and budget parameters. On occasion, you may assume the role of project manager for significant projects or projects of strategic importance.
For this opportunity we are seeking a qualified professional who resides within a regular commuting distance of our office location and who has the ability to travel regionally as required or needed based on assigned responsibilities. TKDA provides employees with flexible hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) work arrangements.
