Achieves or exceeds sales goals by providing complete account penetration in designated market segment supporting the High Peaks Resort and Topnotch Resort. Establishes new client relationships and maintains existing relationships within the assigned market segment to maximize revenue. This role will be based out of the Topnotch Resort with monthly travel to High Peaks Resort

Essential Job Functions:
* Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
* Drive group sales by proactively seeking new business opportunities and responding promptly to inquiries
* Lead and manage the efficient sale of guest room nights and room rentals within the Sales & Catering Division
* Conduct site inspections with potential and existing clients, showcasing our exceptional offering
* Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure seamless account servicing
* Build and nurture strong relationships with the local Chamber of Commerce, civic groups, and businesses



  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals, targets and
  • Identify and qualify potential prospects through participating in telemarketing, tradeshows, sales blitzes, and other sales initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a complete and current database of accounts with current, past and future activity within the assigned market segment that will generate business within defined segment.
  • Actively participate in industry related organizations. Attends trade shows, community events and industry meetings to develop business. Participate in SPIRE sales blitzes. Host onsite and virtual presentations to prospective clients. Participates in pre-event meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required.
  • Responsible for entertaining and maintaining relationships with existing and new accounts within assigned segment to meet and/or exceed revenue goals.
  • Maximize outcome of all sales initiatives by following up on leads quickly, following up with clients in-house to identify additional business opportunities and aggressively managing accounts.
  • Plan and execute sales trips to key clients, feeder markets and industry events
  • Analyzes requirements of business opportunities. Properly convey rate, space, menus, and facility information within approved limits to maximize and protect overall hotel revenue.
  • Utilize the sales system in compliance within SPIRE
  • Stay familiar with industry trends via appropriate use of publications, and association
  • Stay abreast of the strengths and weaknesses of top competitors to effectively outsell
  • Ensure that all agreements are completed in compliance with standard operating
  • Participate in the development of annual business plans for both resorts, forecasting as applicable, and other department activities.
  • Other duties as assigned: such as ordering amenities for meeting planners or VIP's.


Physical Demands:
* Ability to sit for long periods of time
* Ability to exercise judgement in evaluating situations and making sound decisions

Experience:
* Two years Hospitality Sales and/or Convention Service experience preferred
* Previous Sales experience required
* Confident utilizing MS outlook, Word, and Excel
* Previous experience with hotel PMS systems a plus.
