Salary: The expected salary for this position is $110,000 - $120,000 annually. The actual pay rate offered may vary on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience, knowledge, skills and/or location.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Global Maintenance Manager is a strategic leadership position overseeing the maintenance and repair contract services for all Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for the Boeing Dreamlifter Operations across multiple locations within the United States and internationally. With a focus on sustainability, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement the Global Maintenance Manager will drive the operational excellence that is critical to the reliability and efficiency of Boeing Dreamlifter Operations. This position demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic planning, and leadership skills aimed at fostering a culture of safety, reliability, and environmental responsibility within the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(Other duties may be assigned and are not limited to the following)




  • Oversee and conduct regular audits of maintenance operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions while ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals across the AES and Dreamlifter Operations network.





  • Collaborate with the Global Contract Manager ensuring contractual standards are met or exceeded across multiple locations.





  • Implement and refine the maintenance management system and operational procedures for enhanced efficiency and safety.





  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for planning and performance programs to optimize GSE levels at each site.





  • Achieve and meet key metrics to drive continuous improvement and excellence in contract management and operational performance.





  • Drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes incorporating best practices and cutting-edge technologies.





  • Provide technical expertise and support to maintenance teams ensuring skill development and knowledge sharing.





  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with equipment manufacturers and service providers to ensure access to the latest technologies and support.





  • Foster a culture of safety, reliability and environmental responsibility within the maintenance team and across all operations.





  • Ensure strict compliance with service level agreements, safety standards and federal environmental regulations.





  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational requirements and achieve maintenance excellence.





  • Attend customer meetings providing updates on operational performance and ensuring alignment with client expectations and contractual standards.





  • Lead initiatives to minimize environmental impact during maintenance activities through sustainable practices and innovative solutions.





  • Direct maintenance organizations to achieve optimum cost efficiency without compromising on safety or performance.





  • Develop and manage annual maintenance budgets ensuring efficient allocation of resources.





  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes and technological advancements that could impact maintenance operations.





  • Lead and participate in safety and quality audits both internally and with external regulators.





QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, Operations Management or a related field. 10+ years of experience in aviation maintenance management with specific experience in GSE maintenance. Proven track record of leading maintenance operations and programs.





  • In-depth knowledge of GSE equipment and their maintenance requirements.





  • Proficiency in implementing maintenance management systems and operational procedures.





  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance standards in aviation maintenance.





  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple maintenance programs and teams across different locations.





  • Experience in fostering a positive work environment and promoting a culture of safety and reliability.





  • Ability to provide strategic direction for maintenance planning and performance programs. Skill in optimizing GSE levels and maintenance processes to achieve cost efficiency and operational reliability.





  • Experience in ensuring compliance with service level agreements and safety programs.





  • Commitment to minimizing environmental impact during maintenance activities through effective strategies and measures.




OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:




  • Proficient in Computer Maintenance Management Systems and familiar with aviation-specific regulations and compliance requirements.





  • Computer and office programs knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).





  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to drive performance improvements in maintenance operations.





  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.





  • Proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.





  • High attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy in performing job-related tasks.





  • Exceptional integrity and ethics to maintain confidential information.





  • Poised and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.





  • Ability to work both as a team and/or independently.





  • Must be able to read and speak the English language.





  • Must have a valid driver's license.





  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.





  • International and domestic travel requirements: ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to various global and domestic locations to ensure operational alignment and compliance including holding a valid passport or the ability to obtain one for international travel.
