Position Description:
Drives business operations for the Noble Vending business line for Thrive Services Group. Key responsibilities include safety, people leadership, warehouse logistics operations, financial management, inventory control, customer service, and training & development of Team Members. In addition, picks and builds product orders for delivery to customer accounts for Noble Vending, safely operating a vehicle to pick up, transport and/or deliver vending items. Must have strong adherence to all safety policies and wearing all required personal protective equipment at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for controlling expenses and inventory.
  • Develops and implements quality assurance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Coordinates with Leadership to develop and implement strategic plans to help drive daily operations.
  • Partners with leadership on key initiatives to ensure financial and operational goals are met.
  • Accurate management of operations roster to ensure accurate budgeting for labor.
  • Ensures Team Members deliver excellent customer service to customers.
  • Ensures that all Team Members are well-trained and fulfill their duties and responsibilities.
  • Partners with support areas (Asset Protection, Human Resources, Safety, Finance, etc.) to further business goals and ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintains an accurate inventory of all equipment and ensures equipment is operational or repaired efficiently.
  • Builds a high-performing team and creates a culture of safety; to include interviewing and hiring of new Team Members and ensuring all Team Members receive feedback on their performance.
  • Fulfills orders for customer delivery by safely operating a vehicle to collect, transport and/or deliver vending machine items and other materials, as directed.
  • Loads and unloads merchandise containers from trailers and straight trucks, ensuring safety at all times.
  • Assists with unloading and stocking of merchandise into vending machines, minimizing damage to items.
  • Operates hydraulic lift and/or pallet jack to move merchandise containers.
  • Shrink wraps products to pallets.
  • Stages completed pallets in designated areas.
  • Ensures orders are accurate.
  • Consolidates and re-stocks product.
  • Organizes and files office, delivery and inventory paperwork.
  • Cleans and organizes warehouse.
  • Stocks merchandise as needed.
  • Safeguards company property reporting any incidents of theft or misappropriation or unauthorized possession of company property.
  • Safeguards goods to prevent damage during shipment.
  • Acts courteously, handles customer concerns, and resolves and/or escalates when necessary.
  • Follows all established policies, procedures and local, county, state and federal laws.
  • Performs daily vehicle maintenance checks.
  • Responsible for meeting productivity requirements, ensuring daily work requirements are met, maintaining quality and quantity standards.
  • May be required to work overtime to complete assigned tasks.
  • Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used. Immediately takes action and/or reports any unsafe or potential hazards.
  • Maintains workstation in an organized and safe manner free from food, drink, or other personal items.
  • Counts inventory and orders items on a week-to-week basis.
  • Gains a sound understanding of Noble Vending finance and reporting software.
  • Follows cash handling procedures as per policy and procedure.
  • Responsible for performance management (coaching, discipline, performance improvement plans, and annual reviews), staffing, compensation, and development of Team Members.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • 5 years' supervisory experience in a logistics environment.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 - 3 years intercity driving experience driving a 9-speed automatic transmission, full size enclosed cargo van.
  • Warehouse experience is helpful but not required.
  • A valid forklift certification required. Minimum Walk behind training certificate required.
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid drivers' license and clean MVR.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
