The Division of General Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ( UNC-CH) has a faculty opening for a Clinician Investigator. This position can be Open Rank, Fixed Term, Tenure/Tenure Track or Variable Track The position is expected to dedicate the majority of time to research, but also to contribute to the clinical service and education missions of the Division.

M.D. degree. BC/BE in Internal Medicine, and experience in ambulatory medical practice and experience working with interdisciplinary teams. Fellowship training and/or track record of independent funding is required, and the successful candidates will have the potential to secure long-term independent funding. Candidates should possess outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills.

Relevant Fellowship training (e.g., a health services research fellowship or GIM fellowship) and/or a track record of independent research funding. Must have completed Residency in an accredited program, be BC/BE in Internal Medicine, and have at least two years' experience in research and experience in ambulatory medical practice.
