Description The Nurse Program Manager for the Zickler Wellness Clinic manages initiatives, processes, and projects in a novel subspecialty prenatal, neonatal nursing program that focuses on the continuum of prenatal-neonatal and pediatric care. The Program Manager helps to create a nurse training program and curriculum to create and support nurse training in this subspecialty. The Program Manager works collaboratively between the Perinatal Pediatrics Institute and the Heart Center.
Qualifications Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
Master's Degree in nursing or healthcare program (Preferred)

Minimum Work Experience
5 years minimum work experience, demonstrating progressive work-related responsibility and growth (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge
Strong interpersonal, operations, and program management skills.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Comfortable challenging organizational norms and accepted thinking to improve effectiveness.
Possesses a working knowledge of nursing workforce trends and technologies.

Required Licenses and Certifications

Functional Accountabilities

  • Assess and prioritize wellbeing initiatives using qualitative and quantitative data sources that are representative of the nursing workforce
  • Develop program curriculum for nursing trainees
  • Leverage data driven strategy for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting nurse wellness initiatives and resilience
  • Develop program budget, and monitor and adjust plan as resource requirements change
  • Advocate for material, financial, and human resources to ensure program sustainability

  • Support research efforts to discover new knowledge and implement evidence-based improvement initiatives

  • Innovate through internal and external collaborations to develop, design, and implement new ideas/ solutions to advance wellness and resilience strategies
  • Disseminate new knowledge from innovation, research, and quality improvement outcomes at local, state, and national conferences and through scholarly publication
