Description
Under the direction of the Speech Director/Division Chair, the Speech-Language Pathologist II for evaluation of feeding/swallowing, speech, language and cognitive-linguistic disorders for infants and adults. Inpatient and outpatient split position. Acute care experience is highly preferred. Qualifications
Minimum Education
Master's Degree Speech-Language Pathology (Required) Minimum Work Experience 4 years . Required Skills/Knowledge Demonstrated flexibility in the evaluation process. Shows knowledge of counseling techniques. Shows empathy and caring. Demonstrates knowledge of theoretical application. Demonstrates knowledge of clutural and linguistic diversity. Must be available for student/trainee to shadow daily responsibilities. Triages questions from staff, outside hospitals and physicians. Required Licenses and Certifications Speech-Language Pathologist Speech-Language Pathologist Must be licensed in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and state licensure . Functional Accountabilities Patient Evaluation
