Description
The Building Automation Systems Specialist will install, operate and maintain the computerized direct digital electronic control systems of the building automation system for the facility and all the pneumatic operated automatic temperature control systems on all mechanical equipment in accordance with plans and specifications, operating manuals and manufacturer's specifications. Responds to all hospital emergencies including but not limited to leaks, odors and fire alarms. Must have a valid drivers license and the ability to operate hospital vehicles. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and or arms and to talk and hear. The employee is required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The employee must lift and or move up to 50lbs. Qualifications
Minimum Education
High School Diploma or GED (Required) Minimum Work Experience 5 years At least 5 to 7 years of related and progressive experience. Emphasis on automatic temperature controls, both Pneumatic and DDC. No supervisory experience required. (Required) Required Skills/Knowledge Frequent bend/stoop, sit, stand/walk and reach 8-12 hrs. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull >40<75 pounds. PC Operating Systems and mobile work order devices. Proficient knowledge of Intranet, some Microsoft Offices Suites (Word, Excel). Familiarity with automated work order systems.
