Overview

Follow your passion all the way to paradise at TradeWinds Island Resort, a Tampa Bay Times Top Workplace for seven years in a row! TradeWinds features two destination resorts just 200 flip flops from one another along the gorgeous Gulf Coast on St. Pete Beach, a Top-Ranked US Beach.

TradeWinds Island Resorts is seeking sales minded Reservations Agents/Vacation Planners to sell accommodations to potential Guests. The right person will possess the skills to sell accommodation via inbound and outbound phone calls, e-mails and online web chats in a positive and professional sales office. Responsible for coordinating all of the reservations needs for Guests who are enjoying our resort as a member of a specific group ( i.e.; Small Corporate Groups, Family Reunion, Weddings). Responsibilities also include managing their group blocks, establishing a working relationship with the group contacts, and maintaining a cooperative relationship with Sales, Convention Services/Catering, Accounting and Front Desk.



Responsibilities

    Call center or Telemarketing experience preferred.
  • Resort reservations experience is strongly preferred, especially in a group house.
  • Demonstrated experience with organizational and Guest relations skills.
  • A pleasant and easy to understand telephone speaking voice.
  • Demonstrated abilities to exceed goals successfully.
  • Proven ability to be self-motivated and steadfastly pushes for results.
  • Successfully manage many small tasks or processes with methodical accuracy.
  • Take personal initiative and practice independent motivation to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Working knowledge of VERSA and/or Revinate Sales Hub (NAVIS) a plus but not necessary
  • Some sales experience or Customer service.
  • Schedule: Full-time and hours are between 8:00am - 10pm Sunday through Saturday, all holidays and weekends.


Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • College course work in related field helpful.
