Job description:

The Accounting Lead will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, and strategic financial planning. This position actively works with the operational team to identify and realize any business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements, reports, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to support decision-making, including investment opportunities, cost-benefit analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Guarantee that appropriate internal control procedures are in place. Review or implement policies and procedures.
  • Conduct variance P&L analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and board meetings, conveying financial results and recommendations.
  • Maintain and develop cost controlling systems and structures and prepare analysis of material and overhead variations.
  • Responsible for the fixed asset count and advise to management on the variance. Ensure the quality of the fixed assets register is maintained.
  • Ensure accuracy of entries to ledger accounts.
  • Manage Intercompany Matching System (ICE).
  • Prepare Tax calculations and files in collaboration with Tax Department Team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and track departmental budgets, providing guidance on financial matters and cost optimization.
  • Other reports like sustain, business partner, insurance quarterly or yearly when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing environment and variance accounting.
  • Result-oriented and experienced professional (3-5 years) with proven experience in business control, finance, and business administration.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills.
