GFEBS Budget Support Analyst II

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen, lawful resident alien, citizen of American Samoa or other territory owning permanent allegiance to the United States.

Provide comprehensive Systems, Application, and Products (SAP) support to AFMES, focusing on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial systems like General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). Specialize in various financial functions including Funds Management, Spending Chain, Reimbursable Business Process, Government Purchase Card support, Payroll, and more. Generate and customize reports, troubleshoot errors, and serve as GFEBS system administrator, offering technical assistance, training, and coordinating initiatives.

GFEBS Budget Support Analyst II Responsibilities Include:



  • Provide Systems, Application, and Products (SAP) support to AFMES.
  • Focus on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial systems, specifically General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
  • Specialize in financial functions such as Funds Management, Spending Chain, Reimbursable Business Process, Government Purchase Card support, and Payroll.
  • Generate and customize reports in GFEBS, including status of funds, open commitment, obligation, and cost management reports.
  • Troubleshoot errors in GFEBS, including interface monitor errors, IDOCS, and interface issues with DMLSS, SPS, and Access On-line.
  • Serve as the GFEBS system administrator, including Government, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Administrator responsibilities.
  • Provide technical assistance and monitor the status of GFEBS initiatives.
  • Coordinate meetings as requested by the organization.
  • Assist in the establishment of new GFEBS functionalities, such as Project Systems/cProjects.
  • Deliver training, including developing job aids, at both individual and group levels.
  • Assist individuals in creating Purchase Requisitions, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and reports in ERP and BI.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.



GFEBS Budget Support Analyst II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and SAP systems, specifically General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial functions, including Funds Management, Spending Chain, Reimbursable Business Process, Government Purchase Card support, and Payroll within GFEBS.
  • Proficient in generating and customizing reports in GFEBS, with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience troubleshooting errors in GFEBS, including interface monitor errors, IDOCS, and interface issues with DMLSS, SPS, and Access On-line.
  • Previous experience serving as a GFEBS system administrator, including knowledge of Government, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Administration.
  • Strong technical skills and ability to provide technical assistance to end-users.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and monitor GFEBS initiatives, as well as organize and facilitate meetings.
  • Familiarity with the establishment of new GFEBS functionalities, such as Project Systems/cProjects.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver effective training, including developing job aids, at both individual and group levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of ERP and BI systems.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to the organization.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving responsibilities and changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
